Alaskan Fancy was bred for short growing seasons with cool weather.  It bears 2 oz round, red, early and juicy tomatoes.  If you have a short growing season this is a tomato to try. 


California Grown Heirloom Seed
As I try my best to get everything in the ground, Alaskan Fancy got neglected this year and left in 1 gallon pots.  Well, it was a good test.  It didn't stop these little tomatoes from bearing.  In fact I noticed some early tomatoes tend to "be early", but they also seem to put out a steady stream almost the whole season.  Kimberly is like this.  One thing I did learn is that having them is one gallon pots was perfect- I found out they would be great patio tomatoes and still produce!  This would mean you could have them out on the patio and a nasty freeze threatened you could just move them in for the night!
