Merlo Nero spinach is Italian in origin.

A great early spinach that is slightly savoyed in leaf texture.  Great for salads or stir fry. 

In California we can spring or fall plant this spinach. 

TIP:  Remember spinach does not like the heat and most spinach seeds may not even germinate over 85 degrees.
