Organic Jalapeno Raam Pepper

55-60 days Green 65-80 days Red

1/4 gram ≈  25 seeds

Early Jalapeno type pepper which produces about 5-7 days earlier than other varieties. Dark green turns red at maturity.

Cylindrical cone-shape fruits with thick juicy wall and size is about 3x1.5”. Compact plant is great for container growing.

EXTREMELY impressed how early and productive this pepper is!  So far it has out performed all the other
pepper varieties in our 2014 field grow outs. It was very heavy yielding over the entire season. A popular pepper for selling green at markets and great in salsas. This variety has a good flavor and makes excellent stuffed or pickling peppers.

Was a farm favorite in 2014. We deseeded these peppers carefully and froze most of them so that we could save the delicious  spicy skins for making stuffed Jalapenos in the winter months.

Planting Tips for Organic Heirloom Hot Peppers:

Start these vegetable seeds indoors about 6-8 weeks before your last frost date.  Be sure to keep them in a warm place so that the soil temperature stays above 75°.  Young heirloom pepper plants like it to stay warm and will develop best if kept happy.

Only transplant after the organic heirloom pepper seedlings have shown several sets of their true leaves and only once you are sure the outside soil temperature is consistently above 65°.

Organic Heirloom seeds are hardy but always take care with your garden seeds to give them the appropriate amount of moisture - don't let the vegetable seeds dry out prematurely, and don't overwater and possibly have them rot.
