Ecommerce Warehouse Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Processing orders in the warehouse & managing incoming & outgoing shipments of seed to the applicable standards while keeping stock control systems up to date.
-Developing & recommending plans to improve current warehouse processes to promote efficiency, faster service & lower costs.

-Supervising small team of 2-3 people

-Participates in cross-functional problem solving

-Picking orders, Packing orders and supervising those who do
-Restocking and filling seed packets
– Responsible for maintaining warehouse organization and efficiency

-Answering phones, customer questions, problems, order tracking and taking orders

- Ensures overall performance of the team to meet objectives

Skills You Must Have:
– A min. 2 years Shipping and Receiving experience

-1 year plus Ecommerce Experience or mail order equivalent

-Minimum 2 years experience in supervisory position.

- Demonstrated strong leadership experience.  Ability to direct the activities of others required.

-Must have the ability to drive functional results while managing overall business expectations.

-Ability to make decisions, meet deadlines, and continually encouraging employee engagement and promote a team atmosphere.

-Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
– Excellent organizational and communication skills

-Ability to use appropriate judgment to plan and accomplish goals

-Excellent customer relations

-Ability to lift up to a maximum of 75 lbs
-A valid California Drivers License is required.

Skills Recommended

-Seed/Gardening &/or Nursery experience is a plus

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

-Knowledge of Photoshop a huge plus

Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday
Location: Petaluma, CA
Hours: FT position available
