Red Giant Mustard Seed (36 days)

Red Giant Mustard hails from the Orient.

Exotic, spicy and unique in its flavor.

It's baby leaves are very popular in mixed green salads, but is also frequently stir-fried.

Red Giant is cold tolerant and slow to bolt, giving you a long growing season.

Very colorful plant, and is used many times for garden borders because of its spectacular purple color.

Great in urban gardens and on the farm alike.

Alternate  row plantings with Green Wave Mustard for a real show stopper!

Recommended by the Following State Universities or Ag Extension Offices as a variety that performs well for their region .  OR

Planting Tips:

In sping or fall, sow directly into soil 1/8” deep about 1“ apart.  Keep well watered.  For additional crops, sow a new patch every 20-30 days.

Seeding Rate: 32,000 plants/acre, aproximately 2 lb.

Heirloom seeds are hardy but always take care with your garden seeds to give them the appropriate amount of moisture - not letting the vegetable seeds dry out prematurely or overwatering and possibly having them rot.
