Shipping Policies

We offer four main shipping methods (we do offer expedited FedEx options-see below):

We offer additional shipping options, such as 2nd Day FedEx or Express Saver, which will be calculated at checkout. Unfortunately we do not offer overnight as our remote location prohibits such a fast turn around. 

Please take not that the rates and times returned by the "real time calculator" on our checkout page may not reflect the real time in transit - they are only an estimate, and depending on when the order gets placed or the Mail Carrier picks up the mail, there may be additional time involved.

International shipping will be via USPS Priority - we do not offer International First Class.  This is because of the many lost and returned international packages.  International Priority mail starts at around $25.00.  We realize this is an inconvenience for smaller orders and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. 

Prices are subject to change as the USPS and FedEx frequently changes shipping amounts and charges.

Free Shipping.  We are pleased to offer free shipping on orders whose subtotal (excluding shipping) is at least $75 and is less than 50 lb.  International orders and certain other items such as tools are excluded from this offer.  This offer cannot be combined with any other coupons, discounts, or specials unless specifically stated.

Rush Processing.  If you are in need of your order fast, we offer a Rush Processing option, which gaurantees the order leaves our warehouse within 2 business days.  This is not including shippnig time - that will be determined by your choice of shipping method.

We offer shipping insurance.  Once a package leaves our warehouse we do not have any control over it.  Over 95% of the calls we get about lost packages were delivered to the neighbor for safe keeping by the postman.  Please check with your neighbor before calling.  We will do our best to track lost packages and remedy the situation.  However, we cannot be responsible for replacement if your package was not insured.  If your package is lost and insured it will be replaced immediately.  

International orders: We do not issue phytosanitary certificates which are some times needed to ship for foreign countries.  It cost us a great deal to have a certificate issued because the Agricultural Inspector (for a fee) must come out to inspect the shipment and the process involved is not cost effective for us.  If you buy seed from us, have it shipped to a foreign country and it is rejected it will be at your own expense. We will not be responsible for rejected orders and you will not receive a refund. All foreign orders are shipped at you own risk. (Many times the shipment is destroyed or kept in unsuitable conditions for seeds so even if it is returned to us it can not be resold.)

Returns:  Once seeds leave our warehouse, we do not have any control of the conditions those seeds are stored or shipped under.  We strive to store our seeds in optimal condions in order to ensure the highest quality of product for you, our customer.  Because we cannot gaurantee the quality of seeds that are returned to us, we cannot resell any seeds that leave our warehouse.  Because of this, we do not accept returns of seeds.  This is to protect you and make sure that you have the highest quality product.
