We are lifelong gardeners, getting old - We are in a new situation & have been battling too much shade from high trees & house and poor soil (possibly contaminated)..This year we have a raised bed and though seeds sown late, we have hope of melons, Armenian cucumbers, bush beans. beets & various tomato plants. The Sweetie Tomatoes were sown in mid June in what turned out to be a bad location. They will be a priority next year!
Germinated well in my egg cartons. I'll transplant them soon and when the weather warms up solidly will plant them. I'm a beginning container gardener and have one problem.... what will I do with all the extra 40+ plants?! lol
These seedlings came up like gangbusters - it was around a 95% germination rate. And the fruits are delicious - I have had these in my greenhouse all winter and they are putting on a ton of fruit.

Virginia 116 Tobacco Virginia 116 is a bright leaf Virginia Gold variety which grows to 4 1/2 feet in height. Good disease resistance.
