Dwarf Nasturtium Empress of India

Tropaeolum majus nanum

Packet contains 3 grams, approximately 20 seeds.

Nasturtium is very colorful and easy to grow, making it a great annual ground cover. The deep red blooms are stunning against the blue-green leaves of this relatively compact variety. The edible flowers, leaves and seeds make this a wonderful choice for children's gardens. The flowers are also a prolific nectar source for bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.

Add nasturtium flowers and leaves to salads, or try making capers from the young seeds!

Beautiful flowers. Planted them as a companion to cucumbers for pest control. Seemed to do the job; I saw very few cuke beetles.
