Hidcote Blue Lavender
Also known as the "English" Lavender, this herb is used more for culinary purposes as oppose to other lavenders. This semi woody plant can grow up to 2 feet and likes full exposure of the sun with minimal water needs. The plant has silvery leaves with colorful violet-blue flowers that bloom in late spring or early summer.
The fragment scent of the flowers attract many insects such as bees and butterflies. When dried, this flower keeps its elegant colors that can be used for perfumes or for its fragment aroma.
