I have had some trouble with the rosemary and lavender - but who doesn't have trouble with that from seed? But the others have been GREAT little seedlings so far.
Every seed came up, they're about 3' tall with a sturdy stem. Waiting until mid March to put out in the southern (Ga) garden. Will be licking my lips watching them flower and fruit. I like these as an addition to a traditional red tomato salad.
All of the seed in my order arrived in good time. The sweet chinese giant pepper is the only variety I've planted, and it germinated great and are doing well under lights.
I had 40 mph winds my greenhouse fell over and was so surprised the seeds survived two days in the cold under soil and are still growing. The roots were in tact so i transplanted them, they are doing just fine. 10 stars
This is an incredibly delicious tomato. I think every person I have served it to has remarked that is is one of the best tomatoes they have ever tasted. Great any way you have it.

Red Garnet can be used as a cooked green, allowed to flower for a dramatic display in the garden or grow it for grain! Some folks share the grain with the birds attracting beautiful buntings, goldfinches and other flying jewels. Red Garnet Ama...

Fagopyrum esculentum Japanese Buckwheat (49 days) 1 oz package Buckwheat is the perfect smother crop, adding valuable green manure to your soil or harvesting for seed. We kind of do both. We thresh the grain for our chickens and add the stalks to the compost pile. This is THE crop for bee food. Honeybees just love buckwheat and it makes a highly sought after honey rarely found on the market anymore. You will notice that blossoms are more active in the morning when the plant produces more...

German Golden Millet Seed
This particular strain has been around for some time, but the first time we can document being sold as seed was in 1889.
Super popular in feed mixes for exotic birds like finches and canaries, but many birds delight in this millet. Most people hang the entire sprig in the cage for birds to eat. Excellent for those birders looking to attract rare birds to their garden.
Millet is used as a porridge or breakfast food in many countries.

Winter Cereal Rye
1 oz package - covers about 50 square feet
Cereal rye grows best on well-drained loamy soils but is tolerant of both heavy clays and droughty, sandy soils. It often grows in infertile soils where other cereal grains fail. Optimum soil pH is 5.07.0, but pH in the range of 4.58.0 is tolerated. Cereal rye is the most winter-hardy of all cereal grains, enduring temperatures as low as -30°F once established. It can germinate and grow at temperatures as low as 33°F; however, o...

Bunker Triticale
X titosecale
Triticale is a cross between wheat and cereal rye. Bunker is winter active, awnletted (reduced awn expression) variety used primarily as a green chop -whole plant forage, for hay, or for a very high yielding cover crop. Bunkers awnletted characteristic makes a more palatable hay than a fully awned (bearded) variety. When used and a cover crop, Bunker provides benefits similar to winter active varieties of cereal rye (i.e. AGS104 Rye and Merced Rye); high biomass ...
