We are pleased to offer free shipping on SEED ONLY orders over $20 and weighing less than 20 lb. ORDERS OVER 50 lbs REQUIRE A CUSTOM FREIGHT QUOTE and being shipped to the lower 48 US. International orders and certain other items such as Tools, Fertilizers, Books, Seed Racks, Root Crops (garlic and potatoes), Seed Collections, and Hard Goods are excluded from the free shipping offer. This offer cannot be combined with any other coupons, discounts, or specials unless specifically stated.
- CHICO PICK-UP -
We are happy to offer pickup of any orders to local customers in and around the Chico, CA area. Once the order is placed, we will process it and once completed, we will give you a call to come and pick up your order. Please wait until we give you a call as some orders may take longer than others to process.
Orders are held for 72 hours (or 3 business days). If unclaimed, orders are refunded to the original form of payment.
- RUSH PROCESSING -
If you are in need of your order fast, we offer a Rush Processing option, which guarantees the order leaves our warehouse within 2 business days. This is not including shipping time - that will be determined by your choice of shipping method. Please note that orders placed on a Friday will not ship out until the following Monday.
- INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY -
We can issue phytosanitary certificates, which are sometimes needed to ship to foreign countries. If your shipment requires a PC, we will contact you regarding this. The cost for a certificate is $100. A link to pay for the certificate can be found here. Phytosanitary certificates are issued by the county on behalf of the USDA - we have no control over the costs involved. The Agricultural Inspector will come out to inspect the shipment. If you buy seed from us, have it shipped to a foreign country and it is rejected, it will be at your own expense. We will not be responsible for rejected orders and you will not receive a refund. All foreign orders are shipped at your own risk. (Many times the shipment is destroyed or kept in unsuitable conditions for seeds, so even if it is returned to us it cannot be resold.)

- SHIPPING INSURANCE -
Once a package leaves our warehouse we do not have any control over it. Over 95% of the calls we get about lost packages were delivered to the neighbor for safe keeping by the postman. Please check with your neighbor before calling. We will do our best to track lost packages and remedy the situation. However, we cannot be responsible for replacement if your package was not insured. If your package is lost and insured it will be replaced immediately.
- CANADIAN IMPORT RESTRICTIONS -
Please note that according to the Canadian Inspection agency, "Where the imported seed lot is 5 kg or less for large seeded crop kinds (such as peas, wheat, soybeans and corn) or is 500 g or less for small seeded crop kinds (such as alfalfa, tomato or canola), neither the import declaration information nor the seed analysis certificate need be supplied. See Section Y for clarification of importation with multiple small seed lots." We may still contact you regarding a Phytosanitary Certificate if we feel a crop on your order might need it. - BULK SEED -
If you are purchasing seeds in bulk, we may combine the quantity into one single bag for ease of shipping. If for instance, you buy four 1/4 lb. bags of seed, we may combine it into a single one-pound bag. If you do NOT want your seeds combined in this manner, please make a note of this under the "Customer Notes" section at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
- RETURNS -
Once seeds leave our warehouse, we do not have any control of the conditions those seeds are stored or shipped under. We strive to store our seeds in optimal conditions in order to ensure the highest quality of product for you, our customer. Because we cannot guarantee the quality of seeds that are returned to us, we cannot resell any seeds that leave our warehouse. Because of this, we do not accept returns of seeds. This is to protect you and make sure that you have the highest quality product.
