Turban garlic Variety
Tzan is said to have been found in the Shandong Province of China.
Although orginally from China, Tzan made it's way to Mexico where it is called "Mexican Red".
What ever you call it you will not forget it when you taste it!
Tzan garlic has a fiery hot flavor and is not for those of a meek pallet.
Hot pepper fans will adore Tzan for its real world taste that leaves a burn in your mouth when eaten raw.
It looses much of its flavor when baked or roasted, but retains it if stir fried.
Like most Turbans this will be one of the first garlics ready in the season.
Average of 7 cloves per bulb.
