Every seed came up, they're about 3' tall with a sturdy stem. Waiting until mid March to put out in the southern (Ga) garden. Will be licking my lips watching them flower and fruit. I like these as an addition to a traditional red tomato salad.
I had 40 mph winds my greenhouse fell over and was so surprised the seeds survived two days in the cold under soil and are still growing. The roots were in tact so i transplanted them, they are doing just fine. 10 stars
My Dickenson Pumpkin seeds have grown into HUGE beautiful plants! They have several nice big orange blooms on them. I planted them a bit late but I wanted these pumpkin for Thanksgiving pies and Christmas Pumpkin bread. Dickenson Pumpkins are what Libby’s uses in their canned pumpkins so I am excited to grow my own!
Absolutely the best for pies. I can the meat and it holds without discoloration.
seeds came up and are doing good.
Happy with purchase
I ordered the Dickinson pumpkin seeds from Sustainable Seeds. They were shipped quickly. I live in zone 5 and I planted 3 pumpkin seeds mid May 2020. All three seeds germinated and the plants are very healthy and strong. Very good seed!
Outperformed other pumpkins
I planted several varieties over the past couple years. These have been the most reliable producers so far. Averaged 10-15 lbs. one larger one about 20. Nothing remotely close to 40 lbs. that’s ok. Huge ones are a pain to break down.
