Every seed came up, they're about 3' tall with a sturdy stem. Waiting until mid March to put out in the southern (Ga) garden. Will be licking my lips watching them flower and fruit. I like these as an addition to a traditional red tomato salad.
I had 40 mph winds my greenhouse fell over and was so surprised the seeds survived two days in the cold under soil and are still growing. The roots were in tact so i transplanted them, they are doing just fine. 10 stars

Striped German Tomato Seeds
Striped German Tomato Seeds (78 days)
Sustainably Grown Approx. 25 heirloom seeds
Indeterminate vines with potato leaves. Striped German tomato is the most colorful tomato I think we grew this year! Not to mention all the crazy shapes it grows into and then there is the flavor. You just can't go wrong. The flavor is very complex, almost fruity.
Striped German tomato needs good staking though. Those beauties can weigh 1-2 pounds and with a vine full of them most stakes will break or fall over. Trust me, I know first hand ;)
California Grown Heirloom Seed I loved going to look for the amazing shapes, sizes and colors of Striped German. Was super easy to grow. No problems here. Just need far better support system next year. One vine can literally have 30-40 lbs hanging off it!
