Every seed came up, they're about 3' tall with a sturdy stem. Waiting until mid March to put out in the southern (Ga) garden. Will be licking my lips watching them flower and fruit. I like these as an addition to a traditional red tomato salad.
I had 40 mph winds my greenhouse fell over and was so surprised the seeds survived two days in the cold under soil and are still growing. The roots were in tact so i transplanted them, they are doing just fine. 10 stars

Auld Sod Tomato Seed
Auld Sod Tomato Seed (62 days)
Sustainably grown seed
Approx. 25 seeds per pkg.
Determinate, small bushy plants produce plum shaped, red fruits that are firm walled with some tang. Huge early yields and some blight resistance.
This is a very dry tomato that would do well for drying and concentrating the flavor. Nice low acid flavor. Great to make pastes from or add to soups, but not a good fresh eating tomato because it is so dry. This is why it makes a premier drying tomato.
California Grown Seed Irish heirloom that grows well outdoors there and here on the Pacific Coast, seed stock originally from the Irish Seed Savers Association. This tomato performed extremely well in our coastal California gardens and despite the cool nights around 55 degrees still produced loads of fruit. I highly recommend this tomato for the fogging Bay Area!
