Every seed came up, they're about 3' tall with a sturdy stem. Waiting until mid March to put out in the southern (Ga) garden. Will be licking my lips watching them flower and fruit. I like these as an addition to a traditional red tomato salad.
I had 40 mph winds my greenhouse fell over and was so surprised the seeds survived two days in the cold under soil and are still growing. The roots were in tact so i transplanted them, they are doing just fine. 10 stars

Red Currant Tomato Seeds
Lycopersicon pimpinellifolium Red Currant Tomato Seeds (72-79 days)
Sustainably Grown/Approx. 25 seeds per pkg.
They may be tiny, but don't let their size full you. They are truly yummy. Even I, who doesn't care much for raw tomatoes; love to pop them in my mouth like candy.
Red Currants are extremely good at producing tons of grape size fruits. You must give Red Currant tomatoes lots of room for their sprawling habit, and they need to stay isolated from other tomatoes (if you are saving seed they cross easy with other tomatoes). Red Currant tomatoes are extremely flavorful, tangy, and zesty. Red Currant's size makes them perfect in salads (no slicing or dicing!) and they VERY flavorful made into preserves.
California Grown Heirloom Seed Red Currant tomatoes did just fine here. I suspect if we had a warmer summer they would have had bumper yields. Red Currants were certainly more drought tolerant than many other tomatoes and "dry farming" them certainly concentrates their flavor. Just fine for California.
