Every seed came up, they're about 3' tall with a sturdy stem. Waiting until mid March to put out in the southern (Ga) garden. Will be licking my lips watching them flower and fruit. I like these as an addition to a traditional red tomato salad.
I had 40 mph winds my greenhouse fell over and was so surprised the seeds survived two days in the cold under soil and are still growing. The roots were in tact so i transplanted them, they are doing just fine. 10 stars

Matricaria recutita German Chamomile 250 mg seed packet
German Chamomile makes an absolutely stunning border that has valuable medicinal uses as well. For years German chamomile has been used in teas for a soothing and calming effect. In fact, a tea made of it is said to be an excellent anti-fungal agent on other plants!
German Chamomile can grow up to 22 inches tall and 12 inches wide, German chamomile has many thin branches of finely divided green leaves. Tiny 3/4 inch white and sunshine yellow daisy-like flowers appear from early summer to fall.
German Chamomile will grow in many soils but is most happy in light sandy soils. Treat just like you would plant most wildflowers and cover very lightly with fine soil.
German chamomile is used medicinally against sore stomach, irritable bowel syndrome, and as a gentle sleep aid. It is also used as a mild laxative. It can be taken as a herbal tea, two teaspoons of dried flower per cup of tea. For a sore stomach, some recommend taking a cup every morning without food for two to three months. It is also used as a mouthwash against oral mucositis. It has acaricidal properties against certain mites, such as Psoroptes cuniculi. Source Wikipedia
My chamomile is starting to come in which I am very excited about! The seed had a very slow germination period, over a month. However, this may be typical of all chamomile but I'm unsure. I would still recommend it.
These seeds sprouted very quickly and have become beautiful plants. The chamomile flowers are fragrant and will make a wonderful tea!
