Ithaca was developed by Dr. Minotti of Cornell University.
This lettuce produces solid, tightly wrapped heads that are crisp, firm and mouth watering.
Ithaca is uniform, medium dark green, 5-6" heads and ready for the salad bowl in about two months.
It is slow to bolt and does well in upland soils.
Resistant to black rot, brown rib and tip burn.
