Every seed came up, they're about 3' tall with a sturdy stem. Waiting until mid March to put out in the southern (Ga) garden. Will be licking my lips watching them flower and fruit. I like these as an addition to a traditional red tomato salad.
I had 40 mph winds my greenhouse fell over and was so surprised the seeds survived two days in the cold under soil and are still growing. The roots were in tact so i transplanted them, they are doing just fine. 10 stars

Louisiana Short Pod Okra
Louisiana Short Pod Okra(60-70 days)
2 g about 30-36 seed
Louisiana Short Pod grows 8-10' tall with large leaves. This great okra produces very tender short, fat pods in abundance. Harvest at 4-6" for frying. Great even when raw, it is that mild and prick-less.
This is a very short season okra which means it will do well in cooler climates. This seed was actually grown in Northern California. However, that doesn't mean you can plant it in cold soil and expect it to germinate. Wait till the absolute hottest months of the summer and plant for cooler climates.
