Edible chrysanthemum with floral ambitions. The blossoms of these are bright yellow, creamy-yellow, or both, and most blossoms are double petaled for a beautiful 6' display of insectary madness. This edible plant is native to East Asia.
The flowers, young leaves and stems are all edible and can be used in soups, stir-fries and stews. The flowers can be eaten raw or used in making Chysanthemum tea. It makes a very delightful floral aroma and displays a beautiful yellow colored tea. Flowers can be used fresh or dried.
