Every seed came up, they're about 3' tall with a sturdy stem. Waiting until mid March to put out in the southern (Ga) garden. Will be licking my lips watching them flower and fruit. I like these as an addition to a traditional red tomato salad.
I had 40 mph winds my greenhouse fell over and was so surprised the seeds survived two days in the cold under soil and are still growing. The roots were in tact so i transplanted them, they are doing just fine. 10 stars

Organic Tokyo Long White Bunching Onion
Organic Tokyo Long White bunching Onion (65 days)
As the name is implies Tokyo is a Japanese heirloom. Tokyo has in an abundant bunching onion that looks just like what you would get from the farmer's market. I remember my mother and her mom relishing these onions out of the neighbors garden. They seemed to always be on the dinner table. Tokyo is only mildly pungent and very uniform in growth.
Tokyo Long White Bunching is excellent for farmers market or keeping a supply out in the garden for fresh eating. Use the tops on spuds or saute them with olive oil in your favorite dish. We use them in omelets with some smoked bacon. Tokyo is resistant to Pink Root Rot & Smut
Remember Tokyo is an excellent bunching onion three seasons out of the year, but it does not over-winter well.
