Every seed came up, they're about 3' tall with a sturdy stem. Waiting until mid March to put out in the southern (Ga) garden. Will be licking my lips watching them flower and fruit. I like these as an addition to a traditional red tomato salad.
I had 40 mph winds my greenhouse fell over and was so surprised the seeds survived two days in the cold under soil and are still growing. The roots were in tact so i transplanted them, they are doing just fine. 10 stars
These seeds were a challenge to germinate in soil, so I finally placed them in a zip lock baggie with a wet paper towel, setting the little greenhouse in my windowsill. Each of those germinated and the microscopic seedlings transplanted well into a carefully monitored planter. I ensure it doesn't dry out too quickly and they're doing great!
Peppermint from Seed
After purchasing the peppermint seeds it came to my attention the peppermint does not produce fertile seeds and reproduces only by spreading their rhizomes. So it would seem that these seeds are a type of mint but maybe not peppermint? The seeds sprouted and they lack the familiar peppermint appearance of having dark green leaves with reddish veins.
Love your seeds and service
Thank you for staying in business during CV shortages, I am having great germination and garden results. Your herb and hard to find seeds are especially appreciated. Thanks for quick excellent service.
The seeds are great and they do sprout as long as they are properly germinated.
The seeds did not sprout. From what I’ve read the only way to grow peppermint is through cuttings of existing plants.
Total waste of money and time.
