Every seed came up, they're about 3' tall with a sturdy stem. Waiting until mid March to put out in the southern (Ga) garden. Will be licking my lips watching them flower and fruit. I like these as an addition to a traditional red tomato salad.
I had 40 mph winds my greenhouse fell over and was so surprised the seeds survived two days in the cold under soil and are still growing. The roots were in tact so i transplanted them, they are doing just fine. 10 stars
My plants sprouted back in February and I'm nearly ready to plant them. While I ordered 1500 seeds, I only planted two pinch fulls and saw a lot of the seeds sprout. I used regular brown dirt mixed in with oak wood ash. My family used to burn brush piles and then plant the seeds over the ashes. It works for me. I'd recommend these seeds.
Got my seeds and planted them propper. We are an organic farm and have a group of very successful green houses. Not greenhorns. Seeds took 2 weeks to germinate and simply would not grow in best potting soil mix on heated mat. I gave up on them and threw them out. Life is just too stressful right now to worry bout them. I have other stock growing in one of my greenhouses.
Very pleased with these seeds & their success.
Grateful Sustainable Seeds is in business as tobacco seeds are hard to come by.
Arrived with my Black Sea Samsun seeds. Again, early arrival and they are also doing great! Thriving just like the Black Sea Samsun crops.
Good seed, easy to grow!
I bought these and 2 other varieties. This is the strongest of the three. Very easy to plant and grow. Transferred to bigger pot successfully. Have yet to make it to ground, but have no reason to believe they will fail. Two thumbs up!!!
